This was a very tasty salad.

Really good salad
Frisée, fried up chunks of bacon [1] and fresh bread; a chopped shallot; and a poached egg, on top. The dressing: equal parts red wine vinegar, dijon mustard, and olive oil, with salt & pepper to taste.

So so good!

[1] Maddy really wanted some bacon. I had it all chopped up & nice up on the counter, and she went up on her hind legs to try to get to it, trying to give me the look that makes me believe she deserves it. Everyone loves bacon!
